Lube Operation:
The JUST LUBES operation/system has fine tuned for maximum efficiency, of time, labor and access to the vehicle, each vehicle is teamed with two technicians, one on top, under the hood, and around the vehicle, the other in the lower half (service pit) of the building. The layout of the shop consists the service pit (the entire lower half of the building for quick and easy access to all vehicles), a customer waiting area, washroom, office, large storage/cleanup room, and the top service area. The drive through design allows customers to drive up to the back of the building,enter through a 10’ x 12’ door, after service is complete, and exit through the front door. Present floor plan allows for three or four vehicles to be serviced at one time, allowing of extra services such as tire rotations, transmission, radiator & engine flushes, etc. to take place efficiently and quickly.

How Service is made efficient:
During servicing the vehicle straddles the service pit, the vehicle’s license plate is entered into the computer, which activates information from the customers last service record. This is done with software designed by Canadian Lube Software dedicated to the Lube industry. Then a technician will remove the oil pan drain plug, oil filter and grease the required fittings. At the same time the other technician checks tire air pressure, air filter, power steering fluid, brake fluid radiator levels and brake lights. Once the new oil and oil filter is installed, the vehicle is started, transmission fluid is checked, oil filter is checked again for leaks, depending which package the customer is purchasing the service is complete. The base service takes approximately 12 minutes, for a base price of $39.95.

The specially designed computer software then generates an invoice for the customer, who may pay by visa, master card, amex, debit or cash. The customer has the option during servicing to upgrade to higher quality of engine oil, engine additives and/or additional services and additional product purchases. JUST LUBES and Quaker State have created a registered alliance as a "Featured Member" one of 37 in Canada.
